Abdullah Omran

English First Peoples at Palmer Secondary is a class that has the same graduation requirements as a normal English course but instead of focusing on English pronunciation it actually focuses on Indigenous voices. The course teaches by showing literature, film, and oral teachings made by the  First Peoples. The course is made for all students, Indigenous and non-Indigenous to build a deeper understanding of identity, reconciliation, and the power of storytelling.
