French core 10
French Core 10 at Palmer Secondary is pretty hard since it is the 3rd level out of 5 about French. This course places an equal emphasis on oral and written skills. Students will be encouraged to express themselves both orally and in written work ("en français") in the past, present and future.
KEY FOCUS AREAS
- Students will be working on reading French books based on learning and they will not only read but they will also write paragraphs using the french language to make sure they understand french really nicely
- Students will also begin French conversations with their classmates to make sure they are prepared for real world conversations
- It focuses on the essential foundations of the French language, emphasizing the development of practical and communicative skills. Rather than focusing only on grammar, the program encourages natural and effective language use.
- It lets students express about themselves a language other than their old one
- This class is really important because Canada is mainly a francophone country which means the most of Canada speaks french thus learning french is essential for student so they can access careers and communication.
THESIS
The main idea is to help students build confidence and fluency through french class while also having an appreciation for Francophone cultures and a deeper understanding of language.
