Spoken Language 10 Article


This course is made to help students in their development of written communication through a process of questioning, exploring, and sampling. Within a supportive community of writers, students will work by independently and collaboratively to explore and make coherent, purposeful compositions. Also, students will develop their spoken communication through processes of questioning, exploring, and sampling.
The course builds students’ spoken language competencies by showing them varied structures, forms, and styles of oral compositions and by providing opportunities for students to individually and collaboratively study, draft, and use language to create original pieces in a variety of modes. This course will grow their skills through processes of drafting, reflecting, and revising.
KEY FOCUS AREAS

- Students will explore lots of different types of spoken expression such as storytelling, performance, and public speaking.​
- They study the form and style of oral compositions and also practice maiking and delivering their own original spoken pieces.​
- The main aspect of spoken language is thats its developed through collaboration, feedback, and revision.​
- They will also be using a English work book to help guide them

OVERALL GOAL
The ultimate goal of English: Spoken Language 10 is made to help students become effective, confident communicators—both in writing and in speech—by equipping them with the tools to express ideas clearly, creatively, and purposefully across a variety of contexts.
