Chemistry 12

Requirements:
The requirements for this class is chemistry 11

Chemistry 12 at Palmer is a specialized, fast-paced course that prepares you directly for first-year university chemistry by focusing on the deep mechanics of chemical systems. which is a big jump from chemistry 11 because it is much more quickly paced.

Key topics
Reaction Kinetics: Students will study how fast reactions happen and the things that change their speed. Which are things such as temperature and catalysts.

Dynamic Equilibrium: You’ll learn that many reactions don't just finish. But they exist in a constant back-and-forth state.
Solubility Equilibrium: A deep dive into saturated solutions. You’ll calculate the Solubility Product Constant to predict if a solid will form when you mix two liquids.
Acids, Bases, and Salts: Most of the times this is the largest unit. You’ll move beyond simple pH to study weak acids, buffers, and very hard titration curves. You'll calculate exactly how a solution resists changes in acidity.

Conclusion
After all that you will be more than ready for your first year in college or university
