Students have to complete Social Studies 10 to get in Law Studies 12.

At Palmer Secondary Law Studies 12 is offered as a senior elective. The course is basically a into the legal rights and responsibilities that let citizens participate in society.
The curriculum is with the B.C. provincial standards, focusing on specialties like critical thinking, communication, and social responsibility. Like for students in specialized classes like the Pre-AP/Incentive Program, law studies can help their academic experience by helping them make their independent research and analytical skills better which is needed for post-secondary success.​
