Key Topics of Study

Canadian History: Students will be learning about some big events from 1914 to the present, like Canada's role in the the World Wars and how it got to its national freedom.

Indigenous Perspectives: And they will be learning about the importance on the First Peoples laws, truth and reconciliation and traditions.

Government: Then, the purpose of the Canadian governmental system and including federal, provincial, and municipal levels.

Society & Economy: Finally the immigration and refugee policies, multiculturalism, and Canada’s role in the global economy.
